WB Games Avalanche - Production Coordinator (TEMP)

Join the team behind 2023's smash hit Hogwarts Legacy! Avalanche Software, a division of WB Games Inc., is seeking a Production Coordinator with a passion for organization and communication. This position involves direct collaboration with leads, producers, and other peers across every discipline to ensure that game experience targets are met and conveyed to various teams within our organization.

As Production Coordinator, you will assist producers with specific tasks during the product development cycle. Specific tasks may include, but are not limited to, providing feedback, taking notes, maintaining project documentation, database management, developing schedules, performing research, coordinating testing, etc. Candidates should have strong collaboration skills and exhibit foundational project management under a fast-paced work environment. Fundamental understanding of the product development cycle process (overall organization, processes, and workflows) is encouraged.

The Daily

  • Foundational knowledge of some project management principles including project scoping, scheduling, task tracking, project communication, status reporting, risk management, testing, and quality management.
  • Familiarity with development methodologies such as Scrum, Agile, Waterfall, etc.
  • General understanding of all game development disciplines and their inputs into the content pipeline.
  • Able to communicate concepts, verbally or in written format, to other disciplines. Interacts with others as necessary to facilitate the completion of deliverables.
  • Able to document meeting outcomes or decisions. Able to set up and track tasks in the studio's chosen software. Developing ability to create game documentation for review.
  • Some familiarity with estimating time and requirements for deliverables.

The Essentials

  • A degree in a related discipline, or adjacent field, is helpful.
  • Experience with MIRO, JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Experience with Shotgrid/Flow.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the various phases of game development is a plus.
