Position Summary:
The 7th-Grade Girls Volleyball Coach is responsible for coaching, mentoring, and supervising student-athletes in the 7th-grade girls volleyball program. This is a temporary position for the duration of the volleyball season.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and conduct practices that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
* Teach volleyball fundamentals, strategies, and game rules to student-athletes
* Supervise student-athletes before, during, and after practices and games
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members
* Attend all scheduled practices, games, and team meetings
* Maintain equipment and report any issues to administration
Qualifications:
* Previous experience coaching or playing volleyball preferred
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to motivate and support young athletes
* Must be available for practices and games as scheduled
* CPR/First Aid certification preferred
Reports to: Athletic Director or designated school administrator
Employment Type: Temporary/Seasonal
Location: School gymnasium and game venues as scheduled
Practices and games: TBD
Stipend: $2,600.00/per season
