Plant Office Administrator - Temporary
Onsite: Madera, CA
Pay Rate: $28/hr
Full-Time: 7am-3:30pm
Temporary Contract 3 Months
We’re seeking a Plant Administrator to step into an essential role supporting the daily operations at one of America’s leading construction materials producers! In this role, you’ll be at the center of a thriving materials facility, using your accounting and organizational skills to drive smooth operations and collaborate with teams that value growth and integrity.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage daily and monthly accounting activities, including accounts payable, purchase orders, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate payroll and timekeeping records using Kronos and Peoplesoft.
  • Track inventory, assets, fuel receipts, and coordinate purchases/rentals.
  • Prepare and analyze spreadsheets for financial statements, labor, margin, and operating costs.
  • Support and supervise junior office staff; provide scale clerk backup.
  • Collaborate with Safety, HR, and Environmental teams to keep processes running smoothly.
  • Serve as main contact for plant staff, vendors, visitors, and resolve site issues quickly.

What You’ll Bring
  • 2+ years in an office setting focused on accounting processes
  • College degree preferred, at least 2 years of accounting coursework required
  • Advanced Excel and Word skills and comfortable with Kronos, Peoplesoft, and spreadsheet management.
  • Knowledge of AP, PO processing, and general accounting principles.
  • Strong communication and active listening abilities.
  • Fast learner with solid organizational, multitasking, and people skills.
  • High integrity, initiative, and a collaborative approach.
