Job description

Are you looking for a long-term job with a great company? Barberton Mancan is looking for Foundry Workers for a company in Uniontown.
Foundry Assistant 3rd Monday-Thursday 8p-630a (20.57) Training on 1st Monday-Friday 930am-6pm (19.57)
Duties include-
Create steel and other metals using tools in a workshop setting.
Melt metals, pour melted metals into molds, remove castings from molds, pack sand molds, move sand, and handize metals.
Make foundry moulds and cores by hand or machine, cast molten metal, and operate furnaces in the foundry industry.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Monitor the pouring of molten metal into molds and other forms to create castings with the help of ladles and hand-operated equipment.
Carefully track the temperature gauges and color, heating units, furnace flames, etc. to melt metal as per requirements.
Temp to permanent opportunity.
Will be working with molten metals and making castings
Heavy lifting is required, must abide by all safety practices
Attention to detail is very important!
JOB REQUIRMENTS:
Previous foundry experience preferred
Some heavy lifting required
Resume and interview required for consideration
Submit to background check and drug screen
May be required to submit to respirator exam
*** Generous Stay BONUS-$500 after 30, 60, 90 days, and 6 months (totaling $2000) ***
