Flying Blooms is a luxury floral and gifting concept designed for travelers “in motion.” As we prepare for the global energy of the FIFA World Cup, we are launching a high-visibility pop-up floral boutique inside the airport.

We are seeking creative, customer-focused Seasonal Florists who thrive in fast-paced environments and can deliver beautiful, high-quality arrangements with efficiency and style. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an international event experience while showcasing your floral artistry to a global audience.

Position Overview

The Florist will be responsible for designing and preparing floral arrangements, maintaining product displays, and delivering exceptional customer service to travelers. This role requires both artistry and speed, with a strong focus on presentation, inventory care, and guest engagement.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and assemble fresh, dried, and preserved floral arrangements for retail sale

· Maintain visually appealing displays that reflect the Flying Blooms brand

· Provide elevated, friendly customer service to a diverse, international clientele

· Assist customers with product selection, gifting ideas, and packaging for travel

· Ensure proper care and handling of floral inventory to maintain freshness and quality

· Restock merchandise and maintain clean, organized work and display areas

· Support daily opening and closing procedures

· Operate POS system and handle transactions accurately

· Adapt quickly to high-volume periods and shifting customer flow

Qualifications

· Prior experience in floral design, retail, or hospitality preferred

· Strong eye for design, color, and presentation

JOB CODITIONS:

In a retail setting, florists must also ensure that the layout of their floral displays is attractive and

inviting to customers. This could involve creating different seasonal or event-specific displays,

JOB REQUIRMENTS

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma or its equivalency

· 1 year florist experience is preferred

· 1 year customer service experience

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

· Must pass pre-employment drug test.

· Must pass criminal history check.

· Must pass physical.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying 25 pounds; visual acuity, speech and

hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate two-way radio and

data management. Subject to walking, standing, sitting, and kneeling to perform essential functions.

Working conditions are primarily inside with limited exposure to temperature extremes, dust,

damp/wet surfaces, and high noise levels.
