As an Xtreme Programming (XP) Developer, you will typically work within a small, cross-functional team that emphasizes close collaboration and frequent communication. Pair programming is a common practice, meaning you’ll often write code alongside another developer to enhance quality and share knowledge. Daily stand-up meetings and continuous feedback loops are standard, ensuring that everyone stays aligned and can quickly address challenges. The team structure is usually flat, which encourages open discussion and rapid decision-making, and you’ll frequently collaborate with testers, product owners, and sometimes customers to ensure that the software meets user needs.
