Role: Hospitality College Internship

Department: Outside Sales (Events Team)

Are you studying Hospitality, Business, or Event Management and looking for hands-on experience that goes beyond the classroom?

Join us this summer to experience how Chick-fil-A brings the warm hospitality and delicious food it's known for to community events.

Kansas City is hosting the world this summer - come play a part of the epic FIFA World Cup activities Summer 2026 as part of Chick-fil-A!

What You’ll Do:

  • Bring Chick-fil-A’s warm hospitality and delicious menu to a wide variety of community events like outdoor concerts, sports tournaments, community events, swim meets, etc.
  • Learn how to plan and operate mobile concessions setups
  • Forecast inventory and manage real-time product flow
  • Analyze event performance (sales, speed, profitability)
  • Support employee engagement events for our 225 employee base in Lees Summit - like our annual Summer Picnic, Summer Fun Days and other fun employee events

What You’ll Gain:

Program Details:

  • 8-week paid internship
  • 15–25 hours per week (more hours are available)
  • Includes structured training + event experience

Ideal Candidates:

  • Currently enrolled college student (min 18 yrs old) interested in events management, operations, or hospitality leadership
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
  • Very strong communication skills
  • Initiative with can-do spirit and problem solving skills when our in the field doing events

Additional compensation for those skilled with driving and maneuvering a pickup pulling a trailer.

  • Both work experience and character references are required.
