The ideal candidate is a thoughtful and knowledgeable privacy and security professional who understands how to balance regulatory requirements, operational realities, and mission needs. This individual brings strong experience supporting privacy compliance in federal environments and is skilled at guiding stakeholders through documentation, policy interpretation, and secure data handling practices.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Lead privacy and security compliance efforts to help protect PII, PHI, and other sensitive information across client systems.Partner with system owners, ISSOs, and stakeholders to gather information, develop documentation, and support compliance initiatives.Develop and maintain privacy artifacts such as PIAs, PTAs, SORNs, and related materials.Interpret privacy laws, regulations, and policies and provide practical guidance on system and policy decisions.Support the development of privacy procedures, training materials, and awareness efforts.Monitor changes in privacy requirements and help stakeholders understand resulting impacts and adjustments.Work Experience and Job Skills:Minimum of 3–5 years of experience supporting privacy, security, or compliance efforts in federal or highly regulated environments.Experience working with FISMA systems and supporting enterprise-wide compliance activities.Strong familiarity with privacy documentation, compliance expectations, continuous monitoring, and NIST-based security environments.Experience coordinating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to support privacy and security objectives.Knowledge of trends in AI, securing AI applications, embedded artificial intelligence tools, data protections, and FedRAMP environments.Education:Bachelor's Degree is required. Preferred field of study in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Public Policy, Privacy, Law, or related field of study.Master's Degree in a relevant field of study preferred.Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:Desired certifications include CIPP/US and CIPM.Experience with cloud authorization packages and enterprise-wide assessments across multiple FISMA systems is considered a plus.Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to present proposals and performance data, comfortable interfacing all levels of organization.Ability to write clear and concise creative content in a highly confidential manner.Clearance Requirements:Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.Travel:Work under this task order is expected to be performed primarily remotely at the contractor's non-Federally controlled facility.Key personnel are expected to work onsite in Bethesda, Maryland two days per week, with onsite schedules and working hours subject to approval by Federal staff.Additional onsite meetings or temporary support within Federally controlled facilities may be required based on program needs.Environmental Requirements:Mainly a routine office environment.May be required to lift up to ten (10) poundsFlexible in working extended hoursThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the individual(s) assigned to this position.
