Warehouse Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the warehouse including receiving, storing, and shipping materials. This position ensures that operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies. The Warehouse Supervisor will lead and mentor staff, manage inventory, and work closely with the Operations Manager to improve processes and optimize warehouse performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials.
  • Ensure efficient coordination amongst warehouse staff and maintain productivity.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet daily operational requirements.
  • Train, mentor, and provide feedback to warehouse staff.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with the Operations Manager on changes.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits for cleanliness, organization, and quality compliance.
  • Address warehouse-related issues and maintain positive employee relations. Report all incidents to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications amp; Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics setting
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory tracking tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Forklift Certification is preferred
  • Ability to analyze logistics processes and implement improvements.

Work Schedule:
  • Days: Monday through Friday
  • Hours: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Flexibility for early morning or evening hours may be required based on operational needs.
