Job Description Summary:

The Rehabilitation Advisor Business Operations aligns with OhioHealth's strategic plan and oversees execution of the balanced scorecard, including regulatory compliance, financial sustainability, customer satisfaction, associate and leader development, program development, and interdisciplinary communication. Collaboration occurs across the OhioHealth system with Rehab Directors, Managers, internal/external customers, contractors, vendors, IS, and design/construction teams.
This position works directly with OhioHealth senior leadership at the system and/or care-site level for all inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation service lines. It is responsible for executing initiatives in process and quality improvement, data analytics, communication, safety, program development, electronic platform optimization, and operational design for major capital and construction projects. The role also provides support and coverage to care sites in collaboration with leaders to ensure evidencebased, costeffective practices.

Participates in interdisciplinary activities influencing decisionmaking, education, quality, and research
Supports clinical process redesign and operational standardization
Develops decision documents and acts as a changeagent champion
Strong connection and collaboration with revenue cycle functions
CLINICAL/LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES - 20%
Ensures evidencebased and costeffective practice
Serves as a role model and consultant
Promotes positive communication and professionalism
Interim Management coverage as follows: Provides temporary coverage for care sites, coordinates staffing, daily assignments, surveys, hiring, training, supervision, evaluations, supports staff development, facility upkeep, and reporting

Bachelor's Degree (Required)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in a rehabilitation discipline
  • Current licensure in Physical or Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology
  • 5 years of relevant experience

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

  • Multi-disciplinary team experience
  • Strong relationship-building and team skills
  • Strategic and analytical thinking with financial acumen
  • Project management and communication of complex issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EPIC, workflow analysis, documentation, data literacy

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES

  • Master's degree in business administration or healthcare-related field
