Minimum Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, or state-equivalent credential where applicable.
  • Active Maryland state SLP license is required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Professional experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting is required. Must have professional SNF experience with adult dysphagia and cognitive-communication disorders.
  • Experience with common SNF documentation systems and interdisciplinary team collaboration preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Days 0830-1630.
  • Shift Pattern: 5x8.
  • Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks.
