Job description

We are hiring multiple Machine Shop Helpers for a temporary manufacturing opportunity. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can start immediately, and is looking for a short-term assignment in a machine shop environment. 
 
This is a temporary role lasting approximately 1 to 3 months with no client interview required, making it a great opportunity to get working quickly in manufacturing.
 
This role is with a leading manufacturer of commercial vehicle components that supports high-volume production used across North America. The machine shop is busy and hands-on, where work moves quickly as new products are introduced and production needs shift throughout the day. You’ll be part of a team that keeps parts moving through grinding, inspection, and packaging so production stays on track.
 
Temporary Machine Shop Helper Job Duties:
  • Support machine shop production during new product demand 
  • Use belt grinders and circular grinders to deburr metal casting parts 
  • Inspect parts for quality, removing defects and excess material 
  • Sort, inspect, and transfer parts from one container to another 
  • Follow work instructions to support smooth production flow
 
Schedule: Day & Swing available 
  • Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm 
  • Swing shift: Monday to Friday, 3pm- 11:30pm 
 
Pay: $20.92
