New agents should be prepared to work in dynamic, sometimes high-pressure settings and collaborate closely with both military and civilian personnel. Building strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential, as well as developing effective communication strategies to interact with diverse teams and sources. Continuous learning and seeking mentorship from experienced agents can help new hires adapt more quickly and handle the unique demands of the role.
