Job description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring a clean and organized workstation. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces)
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Ensure food is prepared according to recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety standards
  • Stock inventory appropriately and alert the chef of any shortages
  • Answer, report, and follow executive or sous chef instructions
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Handle food storage and labeling properly

Requirements:
  • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook
  • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiar with industry best practices and food safety standards
  • Ability to work in a team and take direction
