We are seeking three (3) individuals with solution pipetting experience who will be responsible for the manual filling, stoppering, and crimping of vials and bottles in a controlled environment. This role operates under the direct supervision of the Production team and requires adherence to established procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols to ensure accurate and consistent product handling.


This position is a 2-month temporary contract.


** Please note this position requires full-time on-site presence.


Key Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

Manufacturing Activities:

  • Manual filling of vials and bottles using pipette and other filling aidinprotected way to avoidparticlecontamination.
  • Manual and/or semi-automatic stoppering and caping of filled vials and bottlesinprotected way to avoid particlecontamination.
  • Prepare the consumables, materials for manual filling and stoppering.
  • Surface disinfection of work surface,equipmentand materials.

Documentation

  • Document the manual filling, stoppering and capping activities as needed.


Qualifications - (Education, Certification, Degree, Skills, Knowledge, etc.)

Education

  • College Diploma or Certificate in Chemical Technology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.
  • Bachelors in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology is an asset.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with pipetting solutions or related field.
  • Hands on experience in pharmaceutical production activities is preferred.


Personal Competencies

  • Strong oral and written communication.
  • Ability to take direction.
  • Mathematical ability, e.g., decimals, addition, subtraction, problem-solving.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels with sensitivity and tact.

Working Conditions:

  • Required travel between Edmonton API sites.
  • This position requires you to be on site.
  • Workis performedin office and cleanroom environments.
  • Personal Protective gowningmay berequiredfor the operation.
  • Lifting/pushing/pulling up to 25lbs, and direct contact with alcohol/chlorine based disinfectant agents.
  • Possible exposuretodisinfectants, machinery, or equipment.
