Summary:
Candidate will be supporting the Renewable Energy team and working closely with sales assisting with the buying and selling of gas and energy products.
Responsiblities:

  • Applicant must have experience and be comfortable with drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating legal and commercial contract terms and conditions (NDAs, NAESB s, Master Agreements, etc.) directly with counterparties and Employer s Legal on both supplier paper and Employer s standard forms.
  • Applicant must be able to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Applicant must be able to effectively mitigate contractual (legal and commercial) risk to and identify and communicate contractual risk items that are unavoidable.
  • Under broad direction, this role is responsible for creating, implementing, and managing contracting activities for specific work streams.
  • Analyze data and work with internal stakeholders and Legal to identify and execute contracts for counterparties.
  • Establish and manage supplier contract priorities based on stakeholder feedback and business needs
  • Ensure adherence to contracting policies and work methods.
  • Act as liaison between stakeholders, internal departments, Legal, and counterparties.
  • Define appropriate commercial terms based on stakeholder input and draft commercial language that mitigates risk in counterparty relationships through effective contracting.
  • Provide updates and report out contract status to stakeholders and management on a regular basis.
  • Assist with the development of standardized processes and templates for all contracting efforts.
  • Maintain effective communication with all team members.
  • Maintain accurate engagement details, tracking in process contracts to on-time delivery expectations.

Experience / Qualifications:
  • Contract negotiation and execution experience supporting business development, oil and gas, or similar. Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to organize and maintain a fluid administrative process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent time-management skills Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Stakeholder Relationships, and Technology Expertise. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
