Human Resources Administrator (Contract)

Bothell, Washington, United States

This role will be instrumental in driving operational excellence across HR processes, systems, and the workforce lifecycle. This role enables core HR services such as: onboarding and offboarding, benefits and leave administration, HR compliance and risk management, workforce lifecycle management, process improvements and analysis, employee support and communication, and HR coordination.

This a temporary role employed through an agency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Facilitate key employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, internal mobility, employment changes, and benefits administration for all worker types (employees, interns, agency temporary workers, vendor professionals, etc.)
  • Ensure HR information system (HRIS) is accurate and all workers (employee, interns, agency temporary workers, vendor professionals, etc.) data and records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Lead monthly data quality audits to ensure all HR data is accurate, stored properly and proactively identifying and resolving areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures, processes and work routines ensuring procedural integrity of HR data and standardization of HRIS reporting functions.
  • Special projects as requested or necessary, continually seeking new ways to support Greenpoint delivering on-time, on-budget with first time quality
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations including ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, etc, company policies, and HR best practices while providing guidance on workplace compliance issues.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HR Business Partners, Supply Chain, Contracts, IT, Managers, etc. to deliver seamless employee experiences for all worker types including employees, interns, agency temporary workers, vendor professionals, etc.

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field or equivalent years of work experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years related work experience preferably in a mid-sized or larger employer in a regulated industry such as aerospace, defense or manufacturing.
  • Employees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee for legal compliance purposes.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Must be able to work onsite at our Bothell office 5 days per week (day shift Monday–Friday)
  • HRIS (e.g., ADP, SAP Success Factors, Replicon)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions not limited to pivot tables, lookup functions, data analysis and visualization tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build trust with employees at all levels and influence across departments
  • Strong process orientation, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Self-starter who proactively identifies and takes ownership of opportunities to improve systems and processes; including planning and leading projects
  • Ability to work across the organization to streamline processes, creating documentation for department and/or company alignment
  • Ability to stay organized, work on multiple things at once, respond with urgency, balance and prioritize current needs with future/bigger picture needs
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time, use hands to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and have close/color vision ability to adjust focus

The expected WA salary range for this position is between $48,000.00 - $63,000.00 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, location, and other factors permitted by law.
