Job description

Are you an organized and driven individual with a passion for community service and administrative work? We are seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to join our client, a housing non-profit, in their Residential Services Department. In this role, you'll assist with fiscal, contractual, and administrative operations while directly engaging with residents in a supportive environment.


What You’ll be Doing…

  • Regularly walk the halls of the residential facility to connect with resident's one-on-one. Assist residents with various needs, coordinate activities, and promote a welcoming environment.
  • Utilizing HRIS and other proprietary programs to input, track, and manage resident data and information efficiently.
  • Operations Support: Coordinate logistics at the housing campus, including booking meeting rooms, maintaining shared calendars, and recording minutes for program-related meetings. Manage mail distribution, maintain emergency supplies, and support safety initiatives.
  • Budgeting & Contract Administration: Prepare budgets, track government contracts and grants, monitor compliance, and compile client data for reporting purposes.
  • Resident Engagement: Promote a safe environment by assisting residents with daily requests, supporting campus events, and maintaining clear communication.
  • Administrative Support: Troubleshoot equipment, handle IT coordination, and oversee office supplies.
  • System & Policy Development: Create and revise systems to support department goals and maintain organized files.

Here’s what your work history needs to show as evidence that you’re the right candidate…

  • Comfort in residential setting: Experience or willingness to work in a residential environment with direct interactions with residents.
  • De-escalation expertise. Proven ability to handle challenging situations and maintain a calm, supportive approach.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn HRIS and other internal systems. Working knowledge of Excel (formulas not required) for data entry and report preparation.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a strong preference for experience in low-income shelter, government contracts, or housing programs.

Here’s the important details:

Location: Seattle, WA (100% onsite)

Job Type: 6+ month Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Flexible start time between 8:00-9:00AM, working 8 hours per day.

Hourly pay rate: $26-$29 per hour depending on experience.

Education Requirement: AA Degree
