Job Title: Concrete Form Setter

Location: Dallas, Texas

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $24 - $28 per hour (DOE)


Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Form Setter to join our team. This position plays a critical role in constructing forms that shape and support concrete structures such as foundations, walls, curbs, and slabs. The ideal candidate has experience working in fast-paced construction environments and takes pride in precision, safety, and quality workmanship.


Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete structures
  • Set forms to line, grade, and elevation using levels and layout tools
  • Install and secure rebar and wire mesh reinforcement as required
  • Brace and align forms to ensure stability during concrete placement
  • Assist with concrete placement, finishing, and curing processes
  • Strip, clean, and reuse forms after concrete has set
  • Maintain tools, materials, and a clean, safe job site
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of concrete form setting experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layouts
  • Familiarity with formwork systems, hand tools, and power tools
  • Strong understanding of construction safety standards (OSHA 10/30 preferred) [
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, kneeling)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Dependable with strong teamwork skills
  • Must be willing to travel as needed
