CONCRETE FORM SETTER/FINISHER

We are a leading concrete company headquartered in Murrieta, CA, with a strong presence in both Southern and Northern California. Committed to delivering top-notch concrete solutions, we are expanding our team and seeking a skilled CONCRETE FORM SETTER/FINISHER to join our dedicated workforce.

Job Overview

As a Concrete Form Setter/Finisher, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects, contributing to the successful completion of various jobs, including footings, commercial building foundations, site work, and tie rebar installations. This position requires expertise in concrete form setting and finishing, along with a deep understanding of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform concrete form setting and finishing tasks
  • Execute footings and commercial building foundation work
  • Contribute to site work and tie rebar installations
  • Operate heavy equipment (skills in heavy equipment operation are a plus)
  • Read and interpret drawings, plans, and blueprints
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and listening abilities
  • Communicate and report effectively with team members
  • Utilize problem-solving abilities and aptitude in math
  • Maintain good physical condition and stamina for manual labor
  • Provide progress reports to Foreman and Leads as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Form Setter & Concrete Finisher (minimum 1 year)
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
  • Heavy equipment operating skills (a plus)
  • Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Effective communication and listening abilities
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the workday.Bottom of Form
