Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all training activities across the site
  • Deliver ongoing training for both hourly and salaried employees, including temporary staff
  • Plan and facilitate onboarding, orientation, and compliance-related training programs (e.g., safety, code of conduct, basic skills, equipment operation, and process training)
  • Partner closely with site leadership, Human Resources, staffing partners, and safety/quality teams
  • Conduct training assessments and audits to ensure effectiveness and compliance
  • Oversee the transition of employees from training into operational roles
  • Maintain and update the site training matrix to track progress and requirements
  • Coordinate and supervise cross-training initiatives across departments
  • Report training progress, gaps, and needs to leadership
  • Document all training activities in collaboration with safety and quality teams
  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to trainers (e.g., process and equipment trainers)


Qualifications

  • Certification in training facilitation (e.g., Train-the-Trainer) preferred
  • Prior experience in a training or learning & development role
  • Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment strongly preferred
