Job description

We are seeking an A&G assistant to join our award-winning team and support our operations.
This role will primarily provide support and clerical expertise to the General Manager while also assisting with human resources administration work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs a variety of general office support duties: answering incoming phone calls, data entry, makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents. Assists or prepares correspondence as requested and performs other clerical functions.
  • Assist in project tracking and follow-up to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Performs administrative and recordkeeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include resignations, terminations, and extended leaves of absence.
  • Complete new hire paperwork and any necessary on-boarding or orientation to the property
  • Post job openings online and update internal documents.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee files.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee morale.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the manager.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards established by the Hotel is essential to the successful performance of this position.
This position is slated to be a part-time status working 2 days during the week.
Upon employment, all associates are required to fully comply with the Hotel's rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of the Hotel facilities.

PAY SCALE
The pay scale for this position is between $20.00 and $30.00 per hour. This range represents the amount the Hotel reasonably expects to pay. Individual wage rates will be determined based on factors such as experience, type of hotel experience, and education.
