Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our Temporary Facilities Event Staff team to support operations during Gettysburg Bike Week. This position requires mandatory availability required from July 8th through July 12th.


This role is essential in helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized property throughout the event weekend. Team members will assist with property upkeep, restroom maintenance, trash removal, and responding to cleanup needs in high-traffic areas.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness throughout the property during the event
  • Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas
  • Monitor and maintain restroom facilities to ensure they remain clean, stocked, and operational
  • Respond quickly to spills, accidents, and facility-related cleanup needs
  • Assist with bodily fluid cleanup and sanitation procedures in accordance with safety standards
  • Support general event cleanup and property upkeep throughout each shift
  • Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to management
  • Assist the Facilities team with additional operational tasks as needed during the event
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be available to work July 8thโ€“July 12th
  • Strong work ethic and reliability required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-traffic event environment
  • Previous custodial, janitorial, maintenance, or event experience is preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying summer weather conditions
  • Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift
Work Environment

This position operates in a fast-paced hospitality based environment with large crowds, live entertainment, and high guest traffic. Team members should be comfortable responding quickly to cleanup and maintenance needs to help ensure the property remains clean, safe, and operational throughout the event. Position may require work both inside the building and the outside grounds of the property.
