Description

The Floor Care Facility Manager role within Real Estate Operations the responsibility to execute and deliver a comprehensive Floor and upholstery maintenance program for Citizens. This role will provide coordination and direction to a team of floor care  technicians and external vendors and will assist in providing floor care service to all flooring types and upholstery, providing general cleaning coverage to the Janitorial teams, along with maintaining equipment and tools.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Lead day-to-day floor care, upholstery cleaning, and janitorial cleaning coverage operations of multiple retail banking and main office facilities

  • Responsible for developing and managing site(s) budgets

  • Host a daily safety standup to review the day's activities and discuss safety related topics

  • Complete assigned inspection activities for floor care activities and other areas as needed

  • Lead service provider(s) and coordinate and drive vendor activities to ensure consistency across portfolio

  • Assess work completed by colleagues and external vendors against safety and performance standards and work with other stakeholders to handle necessary corrective actions

  • Workforce management tasks include hiring and approving time sheets, completing performance reviews.

  • Perform routine site inspections to review on-going maintenance activities, develop corrective action plans and recommend opportunities from deficiencies noted.

  • Assist Retail FM's when needed to provide temporary general cleaning coverage and expedite work orders or cover for colleagues on PTO, LOA, or TBH roles.

  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in the Floor Care program

  • Close out work orders upon completion via iPad or Computerized Maintenance Management System

  • Maintain inventory of supplies, tools and materials and purchasing supplies

  • Ensure all tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained and utilized in a safe manner consistent with established standards

  • Coordinate with Property Facility Manager for Temporary cleaning coverage to avoid vendor spend 

  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in Floor Care Program

  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency service requests and prioritize work order response

  • Refer work to vendors if necessary, via work order system

  • Closing out work orders upon completion; via iPad or Computerized Maintenance Management System

  • Communicate in a pleasant and professional manner with internal and external customers

Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of experience in commercial Floor Care

  • 3 or more years of experience leading Floor Care crews 

  • Proven customer service experience and/or abilities

  • Competent use of MS Office applications to include MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Ability to travel as required

  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills (English)

  • Ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy

  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload

  • Proven track record to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks to assure successful timely completion of all

Education, Certifications, and/or Professional Credentials:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Valid Driver's License, required

  • Floor Care System certifications, preferred

Hours & Work Schedule:

  • Hours per Week: 40

  • Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 4PM - 2AM with some weekend and/or overtime

The salary range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00 per year/per hour. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
