2nd Shift Cleaning Associate
Primary Job Function:
Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass and removing rubbish. Any tasks assigned by management.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them.
  • Gather and empty trash.
  • Service, clean and supply restrooms.
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges and squeegees.
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment.
  • Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 6 months to 1-year work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Training Requirements or Equivalents:
  • New hire orientation
  • ERP System Training
Health, Safety and Physical Demand Requirements:
  • Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Able to tolerate standing for 8 hours or more.
  • Occasional lifting, climbing, carrying, pulling, griping, grasping, twisting, bending, stooping and reaching throughout the work day.
  • Hand and eye coordination.
  • Ability to work in office and manufacturing environment
