Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: The working position is On Site

Required:
  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Austin, TX (required);
  • Experience with Medicaid Claims Processing (5+ years);
  • Experience in business objectives and problems and identifying alternative solutions (5+ years);
  • Experience in reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating user requirements, operational procedures, and problems to automate processing and/or improve existing computer systems (5+ years);
  • Experience in writing detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop and/or modify computer programs (5+ years);
  • Experience in cost/benefit analysis of systems and alternatives (5+ years);
  • Experience in analyzing and documenting input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized, and formats for reporting (5+ years);
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and generation of wireframes (5+ years);
  • High level of sound logic and analytical ability difficult (5+ years);
  • Highly developed oral and written communications skills (5+ years);
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others motivates employees and elicits work output (5+ years);
  • Experience with Information Technology industry trends, directions, and market developments. Experience in relating them to own organization (5+ years);

  • Experience with solution delivery utilizing Agile or Scrum methodology (5+ years).

Preferred:
  • Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates (2+ years);
  • Experience with company's information architecture and information management methodologies (2+ years);
  • Experience with Software technology and global, regional, and local software architecture and infrastructure components (2+ years).

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in development of project documentation based on the Client's requirements and development of application online help;
  • Conduct requirements gathering with non-technical Subject Matter Experts to understand business process needs and program requirements to create Use Cases, flow charts, acceptance criteria, and other documentation needed for system enhancements;
  • Analyze new and existing business processes to determine how modifications and changes will impact the system;
  • Serve as a technical expert responsible for working with non-technical and technical stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication is maintained throughout the Software Development Life Cycle;
  • Ensure that design complies with the Client's standards;
  • Perform necessary testing of assigned programs, including the generation of test data, writing test scripts/execution sequences, examining test results, and debugging detected errors.
  • Use current software development methods/techniques and established development standards to ensure the quality and maintainability of applications.
