  • Hire, onboard, train, supervise, and evaluate temporary seasonal employees (up to 120)
  • Generate community-wide awareness of CVRF programs/services/initiatives, and distribute outreach materials under the direction of the CSMs and program leadership
  • Liaise with local governments and other community institutions to keep them informed about CVRF operations, and monitor community and government trends to help CVRF understand and meet community needs
  • Provide customer service and respond in a timely manner to requests for services from community members
  • Develop and maintain community-level data and quality insight at the individual, household, and community level
  • Produce accurate reports on assigned programs
  • Conduct facility maintenance and manage office inventory
  • Work directly with in-region staff and other staff members at our Anchorage office over phone, email, web chat, video-conference, and in-person; participate in team problem solving and identification of solutions
  • Set an example for others to follow such as peers, community members, and outside organizations
  • Ensure necessary paperwork for quotes, receiving, billing, and collections are accurately recorded
  • Part time CSR I is expected to provide coverage to operate the CSC during normal business hours as needed (e.g., if the full time CSR I is unavailable; if staffing needs increase during intensive programs like Youth to Work).

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Additional duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to become a Notary Public within 6 months of hire
  • Strong understanding of cultural and social dynamics in the CVRF region
  • Ability to develop proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, CVRF's Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, Smartsheet, and SmartVAN
  • Dedicated to achieving program goals and objectives in a timely manner; willing to contribute enough time and effort so that programs can be carried out excellently, in desired timeframes
  • Ability to show composure in the face of stressful events or situations that arise during work; should be able to handle situations like this in a calm and respectful manner

  • Ability to conduct effective grassroots organization, including for example, bi-annual Get Out the Vote efforts
  • Ability to gather community feedback through formal survey administration
  • Good listening skills, explanation skills, and the ability to reply to questions with nuanced answers and/or solutions; able to understand how others feel and assess situations for ways to use best practices sourced from around the CVRF region
  • Ability to overcome barriers associated with isolated geographic environment, lack of built infrastructure, poor transportation network, and inconsistent telecommunications to ensure quality results in CVRF communities on a consistent basis
