HR & Plant Administrator - Job Description
Position Overview
The HR & Plant Administrator supports both human resources functions and daily plant operations, serving as a key liaison between employees, leadership, and corporate HR. This role ensures smooth administrative processes across HR, safety, compliance, and plant support.
Key Responsibilities
HR Responsibilities
Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files
Coordinate recruitment efforts (job postings, interviews, background checks)
Manage onboarding/offboarding, including orientation and new hire paperwork
Administer benefits and respond to employee HR-related inquiries
Support employee relations issues and documentation
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Prepare HR reports and assist with audit
Plant / Operations Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to plant leadership (production, safety, operations)
Track attendance, timekeeping, and payroll submissions (often via HRIS/Kronos-type systems) [Jamilee Su...er in chat | Teams]

Maintain plant logs, reports, and operational paperwork
Assist with scheduling, shift coordination, and workforce planning

Pay and Benefits
