MANTECH  seeks a mission-driven and detail-oriented Senior Freight Coordinator, Sea to join our team in Oahu, Hawaii.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Analyzes and coordinates the ongoing logistical functions of the organization to ensure mission success.

  • Analyze product delivery or supply chain processes to identify or recommend changes to organizational efficiency.

  • Lead the implementation of logistics solutions and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure resource availability throughout the distribution lifecycle.

  • Executes high-level synchronization of sea freight movement requests and vessel load plans supporting mission partners.

  • Validate the accuracy of daily maritime movement situation reports and vessel utilization metrics to mitigate theater logistics gaps.

  • Manage the daily coordination of port-of-debarkation (POD) throughput with evolving current operations requirements.

  • Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and 10+ years of position-relevant experience.

  • Must demonstrate experience in quality gate oversight and acting as the Responsible Officer for functional mission artifacts.

  • Proficient in utilizing maritime transportation data systems to assess and inform sea-related logistics decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MA/MS in a related field and 12+ years of position-relevant experience.

  • They should possess a professional logistics certification (e.g., SOLE).

  • Prior experience supporting theater-level maritime mobility divisions or specialized sealift cells in the Indo-Pacific is preferred.

Clearance Required:

  • Must hold an active Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $134,700.00-$239,600.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  In addition, MANTECH invests in its employees beyond just compensation.  MANTECH's benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, short-term and long-term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
