We're looking for a Government Operations Freight Coordinator who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced logistics environment. In this role, you'll help manage freight opportunities with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal agencies, ensuring freight is secured, coordinated, and managed in accordance with government regulations.


This position combines logistics coordination, research, customer service, and operational support. If you're detail-oriented, enjoy learning specialized systems, and want to build expertise in government transportation, we'd love to meet you.


This position is onsite Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

What You'll Do

  • Secure freight opportunities through government transportation portals.
  • Coordinate Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal agency freight from shipment through billing.
  • Assist with government freight rating, billing, collections, and documentation.
  • Research transportation opportunities and identify ways to expand government business.
  • Interpret government freight tenders, bids, contracts, and transportation requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of government regulations, policies, and web-based transportation systems.
  • Support internal departments, agents, and contractors by providing information and guidance regarding government freight.
  • Build productive relationships with customers, government agencies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with government transportation requirements.
  • Travel occasionally as business needs require.
