Job description

We have an outstanding Contract position for a Material Handler to join a leading Company located in the Palmdale, CA surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $23

Responsibilities:
  • This position will be for a Shop hand who supports production operations by performing high-temperature carbon composite fabrication and processing. 
  • Monitors and operates high-temperature coating reactors, densification furnaces, and ovens. 
  • May be required to ensure coatings reactors and densification furnaces are functioning correctly and identify any discrepancies. 
  • Processes different Aerospace Carbon material products through various methods of Ceramic Matrix Composite processes.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • Minimum 2 years of Aerospace products and processes experience.
  • Minimum 2 years with Composites.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of oven and furnace operation experience.
  • Candidate will be required to take/pass a medical exam to wear a full face respirator for processing different products. 
  • Position is primarily located in Rosamond but may need to travel to Edwards Airforce Base and or Palmdale as workflow progresses for product lines.
  • Experience with shop tools (Scale, razor blades, scissors, wrench, ratchet).
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and standard operating procedures.
