Job description

Job Overview
2nd Shift, 215p - 1245a M - TH $28.13 per hour plus $1 shift differential. Our assemblers performs assembly operations in flexible work cell to produce light fixtures, plugs & receptacles, Control Panels and other lighting products per production work order. Prior to assembly, check all kitted parts for needed quantity and quality. Follow routing specified on production order for work sequences. Equipment such as power drills, power screwdrivers, arbor press, riveting machine, etc. to be used during assembly. Conduct final inspection of finished product prior to packaging.
A Day In The Life
  • Follows safety policies and procedures
  • Places parts in specified relationship to each other
  • Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together
  • Tends machines, such as arbor presses or riveting machine, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line
  • Works at different cells as product needs require
  • Works in cell where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line
