Job Title: Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate 1 - Class X (DDWA1X) Location: Batavia, NY Pay Rate: $20/hr Classification: Full-Time/Part-Time, Regular/Temp, Non-Exempt Exclusively Schedule: Commonly an 8-hour shift scheduled between 7 AM and 6 PM, Monday-Friday with occasional weekends.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to drive a class B or C vehicle (no CDL required). You will be responsible for performing deliveries, supporting customer relationships, recovering used batteries, and executing customer installations. In the warehouse, you will handle shipping, receiving, labeling, loading, inventory control, and battery maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (3.0 or higher GPA preferred).
  • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with little to no safety concerns within the past 3 years.
  • Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
  • Previous delivery or warehouse experience is highly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of courteous and safe driving procedures (including forklifts) and general knowledge of DOT/HOS requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 125 lbs (participation in group lifts for heavier weight is required) and operate material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely deliver a high-quality customer experience while increasing profitable sales of company products and services.
  • Deliver products, pick up used batteries, and maintain/replenish consignment products for customers.
  • Perform deliveries in a regulated vehicle of over 10,001lbs GVWR.
  • Assist retail customers and perform battery installations.
  • Load and offload vehicles, prepare shipments, and ensure the warehouse remains orderly, safe, and clean.
  • Perform battery charging, reconditioning, and inventory cycle counts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all customer transactions and adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) rules and practices.
