Position
The Dublin San Ramon Services District is seeking two (2) temporary, part-time Maintenance Workers in the Field Operations division. The temporary maintenance workers will assist District Water/Wastewater Systems Operators with dead-end flushing, hydro-cleaning, CCTV inspections, USA utility locating, service orders, and hydrant maintenance.
Assignment not to exceed 1000 hours.
Assignment posting open until filled. A first review of applications will occur on Monday, June 15, 2026.
Essential Functions
The temporary maintenance workers in the Field Operations division will assist Water/Wastewater Systems Operators with field tasks and maintenance on the District's water distribution and wastewater collections systems.
Work is performed outdoors in all types of weather including high heat days and cold and rain.
Training and Experience
Requirements
Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
  • May not be an active CalPERS member (CalPERS retirees are encouraged to apply).
Candidates with experience in the water or wastewater field, meter repair and/or underground maintenance are preferred.
