Job Title: Bookkeeper needed in Medley, FL! This is 5 days a week onsite! Must have QuickBooks experience!

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records. In this role, you will support the organization by overseeing general ledger activity, preparing financial reports, and assisting with month-end close processes. You will work closely with leadership to monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting, leveraging your experience with QuickBooks, Excel, and a solid understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and balance sheet accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and balance sheet accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and balance sheets.
  • Ensure financial records are accurate, up to date, and in compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with leadership.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data and account balances in a timely manner.
  • Maintain organized and complete financial documentation to support audits, internal reviews, and reporting requirements.
  • Assist with month-end close processes by posting journal entries, reviewing account balances, and preparing supporting schedules.
  • Collaborate with team members in the office to support ongoing financial operations and provide clear, accurate information as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience.
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) preferred.
  • Proficiency with Excel preferred, including the ability to organize and analyze financial data.
  • Solid understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and balance sheet accounts.
  • Experience with account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all financial entries and reports.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Consistent attendance and strong reliability in an on-site work setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
