What is a bookkeeper independent contractor?

A Bookkeeper Independent Contractor is a self-employed professional who manages financial records, processes transactions, and maintains accounts for clients on a contract basis rather than as a regular employee. They typically work with multiple businesses or individuals, handling tasks like invoicing, payroll, and expense tracking. Independent contractor bookkeepers provide flexibility and specialized expertise without the need for a full-time hire, making them a cost-effective solution for many small businesses.
