Job description

We are hiring Bakers for a high-end Bakery café. The Baker is responsible for preparing a variety of breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, sandwiches, and pies while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, and food safety. The ideal candidate should have strong baking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment.
Responsibilities

  •  Start work early in the morning at 5:00 AM.
  •  Work weekends and holidays as needed.
  •  Prepare a variety of breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, sandwiches, and pies.
  •  Follow recipes, production schedules, and quality standards to ensure consistent products.
  • Understand baking processes and recipes to produce high-quality items.
  • Weigh and measure flour and other ingredients to prepare dough and mixtures.
  • Mix ingredients to create fillings, doughs, and other bakery products.
  • Operate baking equipment, including mixers, ovens, fryers, and rollers.
  • Adjust oven temperatures and baking times to ensure proper results.
  • Decorate cakes with glazes, icing, and other decorations.
  • Prepare and assemble sandwiches.
  • Maintain inventory awareness, communicate ingredients, and supply needs to bakery team members.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, tools, and work areas before and after use.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs of flour and other ingredients.
This position is temp to perm with full-time opportunity for the right candidate 
Schedule: 5am to 2pm, will vary depending on shifts, weekends and holidays
Pay: $18/hr.
