Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembler Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating components on the assembly line in a fast-paced factory environment. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience with hand tools and power tools, ensuring high-quality production standards are met.
Duties:
- Assemble and fabricate components according to specifications, blueprints, and quality standards.
- Set up, operate, and monitor plant equipment to meet production goals, utilization targets, and efficiency objectives.
- Participate as an active member of the production team, assisting with product assembly and related manufacturing processes.
- Communicate effectively with Supervisors, Shipping, Material Handling, and Maintenance regarding work progress and operational needs.
- Provide regular feedback and identify opportunities to improve methods, processes, equipment utilization, and overall productivity.
- Train and cross-train full-time and temporary employees on job duties, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other equipment as required.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet company standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including assisting with material movement and warehouse activities as needed.
- Foster a positive and professional work atmosphere through effective communication and teamwork with customers, co-workers, and management.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe workplace.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory setting preferred.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment.
- Affix labels and other details to products
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while meeting individual production targets
- Attention to detail
- Ability to think outside the box, with a goal of improving processes and systems
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift materials as required.
