Job description

Job Overview
Fairview Range is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Women's Health and Birth Center team in Hibbing, MN.
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients and oversee unit operations for a shift when functioning as charge nurse.
All RNs within the unit are trained to Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and lactation support. Some RNs on the unit are Certified Lactation Consultants. We offer inpatient and outpatient lactation support services through IBCLC, CLC, and lactation trained RNs.
Schedule: This position is a temporary FTE increase to 0.9 FTE, 72 hours per two weeks, 12-hour Day/Night shifts and every third weekends.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities
  • Performs a total systems assessment according to established policies (including physical, psychosocial and spiritual data) upon admission, as well as ongoing assessments.
  • Analyzes assessment data, identifies problems and develops the plan of care in collaboration with the patient, significant other and resource personnel.
  • Provides age specific direct patient care in collaboration with all disciplines according to standards of care.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Qualifications
  • Current Core WHBC RN
  • Current RN licensure required.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
