Director of Information Technology (IT)

Location: Denver, Colorado

Reports To: Chief Innovation Officer

Direct Reports: 4 IT Team Members

Position Summary

National Corporate Housing is seeking an experienced, hands-on, and forward-thinking Director of IT to lead technology operations for a Denver-based temporary housing company. This role is responsible for overseeing the company’s IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, operational technology, and end-user support across a portfolio of operational offices.
In addition to managing day-to-day IT operations, the Director of IT will lead key initiatives around AI adoption, automation, and technology modernization across the organization. AI-enabled business transformation is a strategic priority for the company, and this role will drive the evaluation, implementation, governance, and adoption of technologies that improve operational efficiency, employee productivity, and reporting capabilities.
The ideal candidate combines strong operational leadership with strategic thinking and thrives in a service-oriented environment. This role requires a leader who is comfortable balancing hands-on technical involvement with team leadership, vendor management, cross-functional collaboration, and innovation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of four IT professionals.
  • Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy and operational roadmap.
  • Oversee infrastructure including cloud systems, network, VoIP, mobile device management, and property technologies.
  • Collaborate with product team to drive automation initiatives across departments.
  • Establish governance & responsible-use policies for AI technologies and drive AI adoption.
  • Oversee cybersecurity, disaster recovery, backups, and endpoint protection.
  • Support operational systems.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and technology partnerships.
  • Lead IT projects from planning through implementation and support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–10 years of progressive IT leadership and infrastructure management experience.
  • Experience supporting multi-location operations, hospitality, property management, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud platforms, networking, Microsoft 365, SaaS administration, and AI productivity tools.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, Gemini, workflow automation tools, or business intelligence platforms.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, ITIL, Microsoft, AWS, or AI-related certifications.
