Job description

2nd shift FORKLIFT OPERATOR 
Automation Personnel Services is seeking 2nd shift Forklift Operator for a food manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN. Candidates will operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, transport, and store materials safely and efficiently. This is a full time temporary to hire position.
 
Pay rate:
$16.50 per hour
 
Shifts and Schedules
Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm
Customer works 24-28 hours per week 
 
2nd shift Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Drive forklift to assist with the movement of materials to be processed
• Responsible for raw material and finished goods 
• Handling, loading and unloading trucks
• Distribution of material to warehouse or production lines. 
 
2nd shift Forklift Operator Skills and Qualifications
• Walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; peripheral vision; depth perception
• Work around extreme cold (non-weather) and extreme heat (non-weather).
• Regularly lift 50 pounds, (in office assessment will be conducted)
• Background check and drug screen required
