What We're Looking For:
The Contract Administrator, working in close cooperation with the Contract Attorney and Sourcing Managers, stewards the contracting workflow for a number of capital and services contracts. The Contract Administrator ensures each contract is timely negotiated and executed, and tracks the legal department's metrics and compliance with internal standards.

What You Will Do:
  • Direct and progress all contracts through the contract lifecycle using the company's contract management software, which will include:
    • Communicating with outside vendors and internal business managers on behalf of the Contract Attorney
    • Preparing templates for Contract Attorney's review
    • Assisting the Sourcing Managers and/or the Contract Attorney as needed
    • Procuring and uploading ancillary documents
    • Sending drafts to counterparties for review, and receiving edits back from counterparties
    • Scheduling internal and external calls as needed
    • Sending finalized agreements for execution and verifying proper execution

  • Maintain tracking database to closely monitor and provide relevant updates concerning all contracts, which generally includes actions such as:
    • Regularly reviewing the status of each contract, and updating the tracker to reflect the stage of each
    • Following up with relevant individuals regarding contract statuses and prompting them to take action
    • Saving and notating files for future reference
    • Inputting data and verifying accuracy of records

Your Experience Includes:
  • 2+ years of experience in contract administration, transactional paralegal work, or similar
  • Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Law, Business, or Finance
