Schedule: Full-time, fully onsite
Overview:Seeking a reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to support a high-volume AP department on a long-term temporary basis. This role is fully onsite in Fort Lauderdale and ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced accounting environment.
Responsibilities:- Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and timely
- Perform data entry, invoice coding, and matching (PO and non-PO)
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries
- Assist with weekly check runs and payment processing
- Maintain organized AP files and documentation
- Support month-end close tasks related to accounts payable
- Work closely with accounting and internal departments to ensure accuracy and compliance
Qualifications:- 1+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
- Strong data entry and attention to detail
- Familiarity with accounting systems and basic Excel
- Ability to work onsite full-time in Fort Lauderdale
- Dependable, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
