Summary We're seeking driven and reliable individuals to join our Production Support team as a Material Handler. In this role, candidates will support key Supply Chain and Materials Management functions, including Goods Movement, Inventory Control, and Good Documentation Practices. Candidates will also gain exposure to production-related areas within the classified areas for a well-rounded understanding of site operations. A successful team member of the Production Support Asset helps ensure materials are delivered to the manufacturing team for uninterrupted production of life saving therapies.
Key Responsibilities - Maintain general supplies and stock materials for daily usage by production team(s) within controlled and classified areas.
- Perform cycle counts within classified spaces.
- While working in the classified area, scrubs, hairnet, shoe covers, gloves, safety glasses are required.
- Accurately enter a variety of SAP transactions (Material Movements) ensuring compliance with cGMP requirements and SOP's
- Prepare items for production use (i.e. wipe down materials for entry to the staging area) to include systematic transactions.
- Must be capable of motivating others, creating a positive work climate where inter-departmental collaboration, coaching and performance feedback are continuous
- Continue with ongoing required area training to increase knowledge and understanding. Complete training on the job related equipment. Complete on-going Employee Health & Safety (EHS) chemical awareness training
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills - High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Strong understanding of SAP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) experience.
- Experience within Supply Chain/Logistics
- Basic computer knowledge including MS Office Suite programs
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow-up to meet critical deadlines
- Ability to work as a team player.
