Job Description

We are seeking motivated and dedicated Event Security Agents for a Temporary Assignment! If you are looking to get in with a great company or just pick up some extra money this Summer and you have an active guard card. Apply now and one of our dedicated Managers will reach out to you.

Positions Available:

Part-Time/Temporary

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Greet/Assist guests - be proactive and friendly; provide information and direction
  • Have an understanding of the venue layout and features
  • Manage Line/Crowd Control - verify entry of guests through tickets, badges or wristbands, direct traffic in and out of venue
  • Screen guests during entry including bag checks, walk-thru, hand wand, and visual
  • Observe and Report
  • Demonstrate and enforce company and venue policies
  • Roaming and Patrolling - clearing aisle and assisting with crowd control issues
  • Field Intrusion/Barricade - create a secure area between the crowd and the event
  • Patrols and monitors an assigned area; reports suspicious activities to local authorities.
  • Monitors surveillance cameras, inspects property, and monitors crowds.
  • Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency.
  • After business hours, checks doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure.
  • Reasonably detains persons suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives.
  • Escorts discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off the premises.

Requirements: MUST HAVE A VALID GUARD CARD TO APPLY

  • Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Authoritative verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings.
  • Flexible schedule required, most shifts require weekend availability

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Security guard training certification required.
  • Previous experience a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions. In addition to other demands, the demands of the job include:

  • Ability to patrol the property on foot and access areas quickly.
  • Physically able to capture and detain individuals if necessary.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and monitoring surveillance equipment.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
