POSITION SUMMARY
This position supports buyers with administrative tasks in the procurement process and ensures data is accurate and updated in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Add expense line(s) to purchase order
  2. Work with Receiving to receive expense lines
  3. Confirm purchase order(s)
  4. Update purchase order due dates
  5. Update supplier price lists
  6. Update lead-time
  7. Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Procurement experience is preferred
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in administrative support, or data entry role
  • Good time management
  • Strong attention to detail

This employee must be able to move 25 pounds, and must be able to sit, stand, type and click a mouse for extended periods of time. Requires repetitive reviewing of numbers and other information and nearly mistake free work performance.
