A Temp Cold Calling Appointment Setter is responsible for making outbound phone calls to potential clients or customers on behalf of a company, with the goal of scheduling appointments for sales representatives or other staff. This is typically a temporary position, meaning it is for a set period or to meet short-term business needs. The main duties include identifying leads, following a script, handling objections, and accurately recording call outcomes. Strong communication skills and persistence are important qualities for success in this role.

What are some common challenges faced by temp cold calling appointment setters, and how can they be managed?

Temp Cold Calling Appointment Setters often encounter challenges such as handling frequent rejections, adapting quickly to different scripts or products, and meeting daily call quotas within tight deadlines. Success in this role requires resilience, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude even during high-volume calling sessions. Building rapport quickly with prospects and actively listening can help improve conversion rates, while seeking feedback from supervisors and peers can support continuous improvement. Being open to learning and using customer relationship management (CRM) tools efficiently are also key to managing workload and staying organized.

Why Join Us
  • 100% remote with flexible work setup.
