Job Title: Construction Bookkeeper
Job Description
A growing construction company in Orlando is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Bookkeeper to support the daily financial operations of its projects. In this role, you will maintain accurate financial records, process invoices, manage data entry, and facilitate smooth communication across project teams and vendors. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and contribute with a proactive, team-first approach while gaining exposure to all aspects of construction accounting.
Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry for financial transactions and project-related expenses.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Maintain, update, and reconcile financial records using QuickBooks (preferred).
  • Assist with job costing, vendor payments, and tracking project expenditures across multiple construction projects.
  • Support document management and reporting requirements specific to construction projects, including formats such as AIA where applicable.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to support financial and operational needs.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, regarding financial and project-related matters.
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and support various administrative and accounting functions as needed.
  • Contribute to the overall financial efficiency and success of construction projects by providing reliable bookkeeping support.
