What is a Temp Atrium Health RN?

A Temp Atrium Health RN is a registered nurse who works on a temporary, contract, or per-diem basis at Atrium Health facilities. These nurses fill staffing gaps, provide support during peak periods, and ensure quality patient care across various departments. Temporary RNs may work in different units such as emergency, ICU, or medical-surgical, depending on the facility's needs. They must hold a valid RN license and often have prior experience to adapt quickly to new environments.

To thrive as a Temp Atrium Health RN, you need a current RN license, strong clinical assessment abilities, and experience in acute or specialty care settings. Familiarity with hospital electronic health record (EHR) systems, medication administration, and compliance protocols is typically required. Excellent communication, adaptability, and teamwork are crucial soft skills for integrating quickly into new units and providing compassionate care. These competencies ensure safe, effective patient care and help temporary nurses succeed in dynamic healthcare environments.
