What is a Temp Atrium Health RN?

A Temp Atrium Health RN is a registered nurse who works on a temporary, contract, or per-diem basis at Atrium Health facilities. These nurses fill staffing gaps, provide support during peak periods, and ensure quality patient care across various departments. Temporary RNs may work in different units such as emergency, ICU, or medical-surgical, depending on the facility's needs. They must hold a valid RN license and often have prior experience to adapt quickly to new environments.

What are some common challenges faced by Temp Atrium Health RNs, and how can they effectively integrate into new teams?

Temp Atrium Health RNs often face the challenge of quickly adapting to new work environments, protocols, and team dynamics. To integrate effectively, it’s important to communicate proactively, familiarize yourself with facility-specific procedures, and seek clarification when needed.
