Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs and establish individualized therapy treatment goals.
  • Utilize best practices to administer both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on evidence-based methodologies to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential records of patient observations and therapy sessions in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Regularly evaluate patient progress and the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to facilitate growth and recovery.
  • Provide patients with access to community resources and therapeutic activities, enhancing their support network and promoting holistic well-being.
  • Document all therapy conducted, including assessments, treatment modalities, and progress notes, in our electronic health records system.
  • Assist with direct patient care, including crisis intervention and emergency response, as needed to prioritize patient safety.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The individual in this role will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families seeking support for a variety of mental health challenges. Our clients may present with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. By focusing on personalized, person-centered care, you will help individuals navigate their unique mental health journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
  • Must possess one of the following independent licenses: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Two years of professional experience in a mental health counseling setting is mandatory.
Preferred Experience

Prior experience in a telehealth setting, combined with training in evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic health record systems will enhance your workflow efficiency in this remote position.
